Ken Davis, Director of the 3-1-1 Call Center at City Hall, will explain the critical role 311 Specialist Evacuteers play during an activation. This is an excellent service opportunity for trained Evacuteers who may not be able to serve at an Evacuspot location, but who still want to serve our community where they are needed!
Due to an expected increase in call volume, Evacuteers are requested to assist with taking 3-1-1 calls in the City Hall Call Center during both lower-level storms and mandatory evacuations. Using an automated script and easy-to-follow software system, we will walk you through the process of handling a variety of resident issues. In the event of a 3-1-1 activation, you will be notified via phone/text/email to report to the City Hall Call Center for your shift!
Prerequisite: We ask that you first complete an introductory Evacuteer training session. These are offered regularly throughout the year- check evacuteer.org/events to see the schedule and sign up!
