Hello, and thank you for stepping up your service with us to become an Evacuteer Leader!

Each hurricane season, we are excited to host these special training sessions for our current roster of Evacuteers who have a desire to go the extra mile and help manage the logistics, communications, and supervision for Evacuteers during City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE). In order to join the leadership team we ask that you commit to serve with us for a minimum of 2 years.

Lunch and refreshments will be served!

Topics discussed during the morning session will include:

  • Evacuee flow during the CAE
  • Leadership roles at the Evacuspots
  • Leadership roles at the Union Passenger Station (UPT/Greyhound station)
  • Chain of command and logistics
  • What to expect when activated
  • Mental health first aid and supportive communication

After lunch, we will simulate an Evacuspot set-up and walk through several different scenarios that are likely to take place during CAE. We also hope to have a couple of special guest speakers speak with you about how Evacuteer leadership service fits into the larger picture of this massive, multi-million dollar, one-of-a-kind evacuation assistance program!

Evacuteer leadership service gives you the opportunity to not only challenge yourself in a new role, but to also become a resource of knowledge within your community. Feel free to email, text, or call us if you have any questions.

We look forward to spending the day with you!
