Introductory Training at Martin Luther King Library

Registration is closed for this event

Thousands of our neighbors may need help evacuating if a major storm comes our way. Evacuation volunteers (Evacuteers) assist with New Orleans’ public evacuation option, City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE), to make sure that our residents are safe and out of harm's way!

Come out to the Martin Luther King Library Branch in the Lower Ninth Ward to find out what we're all about, and what YOU can do to help!

In this one-hour training session, we will cover:

  • How City-Assisted Evacuation works
  • Why we need volunteers to assist
  • The important role you will play as an Evacuteer
  • Other ways to get involved with Evacuteer's work in supporting our community during emergencies

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you!
