Evacuteer Profile
Evacuteer Duties

At the Evacuspots, you will be asked to:

  • Place wristbands on each evacuee
  • Request and complete evacuee registration forms legibly and with enough force on clipboard (one per family)
  • Tag each piece of luggage
  • Keep families together and assist them with luggage as you load and fill the RTA buses
  • Defer to Captain for all difficult situations or questions (who may defer to NOPD on site)
  • Inform your EvacuSpot Captain of any efficiencies or improvements that can be made to the flow of the EvacuSpot
  • Maximize evacuee comfort and dignity, while maintaining a patient and pleasant attitude

At Union Passenger Terminal (UPT), Evacuteers will:

  • Greet with incoming information on the buses, pointing out pet registration, medical triage, and guns & amnesty areas
  • Help off-load and get evacuees into line within the UPT
  • Ensure ticket is in hand and ticket copies are distributed correctly
  • Buses are loaded in groups of 55
